One of our favorite designs, The Musician, has become the property of Sir Elton John. We customized this fashion cane by making it the preferred color of purple (Hawaiian) and engraving the handle with their new baby's name Zachary, as well as the initials EJ on the end, facing forward as he walks. This is a beautiful piece and arrived in London, England this month - we hope to see Sir Elton John proudly using this cane as a fashion accessory in an upcoming public appearance.

New Motorcycle Accessory Simplifies Riding for Walking Cane Users
Mobility impaired can now carry cane on motorcycle with ease and efficiency.
(PRWEB) November 19, 2010
Al and Wanda Lambeth, co-founders of Cool Canes Inc. announced the availability of an innovative accessory that will liberate motorcycle owners who also use a walking cane. Their on-line shopping site featuring uniquely designed canes now also offers the new Cool Cane Motorcycle Mount.
Cool Canes Inc. was formed by custom motorcycle fabricators, Al and Wanda Lambeth, to address the need for canes with non-clinical appearance to suite the biker culture. A natural offshoot of these unique walking canes was to design a mount for a walking cane, based on numerous requests from their biker clientele. Traditionally, various methods for carrying a cane on a bike including strapping with Velcro, belts or bungee cords – these continually proved to be dangerous, unattractive and cumbersome. The new Cool Cane Motorcycle Mount is designed to attach to the front fork of the motorcycle, blending in and creating an easy-access accessory that is easy to install and attractive.
Currently this patent-pending new product is available in 3 sizes that encompass the majority of front-end styles of typical custom designed or Harley Davidson motorcycles. Additional sizes will become available as demand increases from various bike style owners. The cane mount is crafted from high grade billet aluminum and comes with polished mounting brackets, a sturdy cane tube, safety strap, allan wrench and complete instructions for installation. It is an original mount, easy to install, attractive and has exceptionally high ‘Made in North America’ quality.
This innovative invention is a breath of fresh air for cane users who also ride a motorcycle. Whether someone is looking for an efficient and attractive accessory for their own use or a truly unique gift, they are sure to find what they are looking for by clicking here.

Cool Canes Strut Their Stuff in Hollywood!
Walking sticks don’t walk in Hollywood, they strut! And that’s just what Cool Canes were doing in March, during the 82nd Academy Awards, when three of our designs found their way into the hands of a few famous faces such as Christopher Rich of CSI, Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal fame, photographed leaning on our gangster style Holeshot cane.

Canes on the Silver Screen
Walking canes and cinema have gone hand-in-hand since the early 1900’s. Some of Hollywood’s most memorable characters have been associated with their signature cane, staff or walking stick, reminding us that these fashionable and sporty accessories are much more than a mere mobility aid.
- One of Hollywood’s earliest stars in the 1920’s, Charlie Chaplin is well known for his iconic bowler hat and cane. His famous bamboo cane recently sold for $82,000 at a London auction.
- Who can forget Hollywood dance-man Fred Astaire’s charming cane solo ‘Puttin on the Ritz’ in the 1940’s film Blue Skies? The ingenious jumping cane routine was achieved with a concealed floor trigger mechanism.
- In the darkly satirical science-fiction film A Clockwork Orange, the main character Alex (Malcolm McDowel) wields a cane with a knife concealed in the handle, akin to the London Dagger cane used by fictional sleuth Sherlock Holmes.
- More recently, in the blockbuster Harry Potter films, the infamous Lucius Malfoy carries a walking stick that disguises his magic wand. Interestingly, this detail was created for the films only; there is no mention of a cane in the original Harry Potter books.
There are dozens of film and television characters who are inseparable from their canes. How many can you think of? Email us and let us know! info@coolcanes.ca
