Design Contest

PLEASE NOTE OUR DESIGN CONTEST HAS NOW CLOSED AND ENTRIES ARE BEING REVIEWED FOR ORIGINALITY AND PRODUCTION CAPABILITY.  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ENTERED AND WATCH OUR HOMEPAGE FOR ANY UPCOMING ANNOUNCEMENTS OF WINNERS!  THIS PAGE WILL SOON BE REPLACED WITH OUR EXCITING AND INNOVATIVE COOL CANES "STRUT YOUR STUFF" BLOG.  STAY TUNED!!

Do you have a creative side?

Have you pictured yourself with a walking cane that blows away tradition? Will your design make people stop and say ‘Cool Cane’…?

Enter the Cool Cane design contest!

  • Send us your sketch, CAD drawing or picture by email to info@coolcanes.ca with the subject header “Design Contest”. Don’t forget to include all your contact information.  We need to see a complete drawing so we know what look you are going for and to ensure we don't already have that design in the works - a one-liner is great but not enough to qualify for the contest.  We need a visual please.

  • Winning designs will receive the first ‘numbered’ cane as a gift and have their design showcased on our website.

  • So get creative, get drawing and we look forward to seeing what ‘cool’ means to you.

Please note that Cool Canes Inc. will determine the end-of-contest deadline once enough ORIGINAL designs are received.

Design parameters:  Canes must be useable in that they will still be comfortable to the user.  No weapons, no "naughty" stuff i.e. obscene or pornographic in nature.  Please be culturally sensitive.  In the event your design should be chosen, please be advised licensed logos, emblems, etc cannot be used without prior written consent from the owner or acquiring licensing approval.

The legal stuff – please be advised the winning design of the month becomes the property of Cool Canes Inc.  Take pride in knowing the personally designed assistive accessory that takes its rightful place among the customized canes in our catalogue was done by YOU!!
