We have a unique style that defines us: a fully operational replica 50’s diner, ‘50’s and ‘60’s cars, custom motorcycles and a unique lifestyle collection fill our home and workshop. Our home and style reflects our personalities and lifestyle in a way that announces that we aren’t exactly Ozzie and Harriet.

Until the birth of Cool Canes, we focused on building customized motorcycles. Whiplash Customs is not your average customization shop. We produce really cool bikes for customers that reflect the owner’s own unique styles.  With Cool Canes, we applied this style to a completely different area of life. 

Our original concept was to help injured motorcyclists adjust to a new way of living through the loss of a limb or any injury resulting in mobility difficulties. The use of a cane as a mobility device is often perceived as a negative experience or a sign of vulnerability.  Our “Biker” friends have a unique way of looking at life and surround themselves with the culture they call home. Their clothes, their vehicles all reflect their style – so why shouldn’t their cane?

By designing an assistive accessory that fits with a lifestyle, research showed us that depression could be lifted significantly by allowing the user remain connected to their chosen culture. Our walking canes, or assistive accessories as we prefer to call them, put the jazz back into what can otherwise be construed as a boring or clinical necessity.

And so our journey began.  Our assistive accessory design concepts began to evolve into different lifestyles, cultures, passions and hobbies.   There is no greater joy for us than taking a situation that can be very difficult for an individual and providing an assistive accessory that our clients use with pride to express their individuality.

And now our designs have found their way into the fashion market as well. Our walking canes have evolved into stylish wardrobe additions that have captured the interest of both men and women not requiring a mobility device but who want to express themselves in a new, exciting way that speaks of their own individuality with a fashion accessory like none other seen before.

We are best in market quality, quick turnaround and an above-average value for your money.  Our assistive accessories are designed and manufactured entirely in Canada and the U.S. therefore we are keeping the business close to home and our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals who desire to make a statement that defines who they truly are.
